Include your iPhone model, iOS version, Istanpurr version (shown in the app’s Settings), and what happened. We can help in English or Turkish.

Taking a photo

If the camera won’t open, check Istanpurr’s camera permission in iPhone Settings. When the camera is unavailable, you can use the photo picker offered in the app. If a cat isn’t detected, try a clear, well-lit photo with the cat fully in view.

Location and the map

Location is optional. You can collect cats without it. To add locations to new encounters, allow location access for Istanpurr in iPhone Settings. Community sightings appear at neighborhood level and require an internet connection to load.

Your collection

Photos and cat stickers stay on your device. Cloud records do not restore your photo collection. Contact us before reinstalling the app if your collection appears to be missing.

Deleting your data

In Istanpurr, open Settings → Delete All Data to remove your collection, photos, cloud records, community sightings, and anonymous account. Connect to the internet to complete cloud deletion. If it fails, reconnect and try again, or email us for help.

Previously sent analytics events are not automatically removed by this action. For a privacy or analytics deletion request, email the address above. See our privacy policy for details.
